i don’t use my blog much BUT summer has brought me so much love, connectedness, renewal, appreciation- i am happy and know that my happiness will grow. the choice i made recently was the right choice. i feel like i can sit back and live in a way that i haven’t been able to for the past few months and i think everything is going to be okay if not more than okay 😊

in the last 5 days i’ve had two job interviews (one of which got me a job- for a prestigious project funded by the bill and melinda gates foundation nonetheless); i said goodbye to my oma’s house forever, in its gutted, emptied state with few of her belongings remaining (which mostly ended up in a dumpster), while my dad dismantled her dated china cabinets and dressers that we couldn’t sell; i attended my first two seders for passover which was more meaningful to me than i imagined it would be; i scheduled a grad school interview with the most competitive school i applied to after having been denied from all the other schools

luv how i’m not getting into grad schools, luv how the only potential employers i’ve heard back from can’t hire me, luv how my current bosses are either secretly disappointed in my abilities or won’t give me more hours despite my persistence, luv how i’m going to be moving out of the home that i love soon and moving back in with my parents, luv how i have to make my first loan payment in july, wow having a bachelor’s degree sure has its perks! 10/10 would recommend
